Trivia

Les Misérables (2012) was the first musical to be nominated for Best Picture since Chicago (2002) was nominated ten years earlier. In keeping with the ceremony's theme honoring music in film, the stars from both films, and Dreamgirls (2006) performed a medley highlighting songs from each film. See more »

Quotes

Paul N.J. Ottosson - Winner: Best Sound Editing: To the Academy, thank you. This is such an honor. Kathryn, what a fantastic movie. And my crew. I was fortunate to be here a few years ago for a movie called "Hurt Locker" and I was awarded two of these. I woke up in the morning, seven o'clock, where our son has said, "One for mommy, one for daddy." He looked at me and said, "Where's mine?" And Theo, I love you. Karen, I love you. Mom watching at home, I love you. My dad, with God now, I love you. I miss you. Good night. Thank you.

Loved the Oscars 13'
20 August 2018 | by adonis98-743-186503See all my reviews

Seth MacFarlane hosts the Academy Awards. The Oscars (2013) is definitely better than the later entries, nominations and definitely wins that came to the following years plus movies such as Argo, Skyfall, Life of Pi and even Django deserved the nominations they got and it was definitely great seeing Ben Affleck finally getting some good recognation for his talent as a whole. Seth McFarlane was also not that bad of a host either and Jennifer Lawrence falling? was pretty funny too and one of the best parts of the whole night too maybe? Definitely very good. (8/10)
