Storyline

Jimmy Stratford is an awkward little boy with a lisp. One day, he wonders what he should be for Halloween. He decides to be a Pokemon Trainer. At school, on Halloween, he throws his Pokeball at a big 8th grader named Ballal. Ballal and his friend beat Jimmy up. After school, Jimmy goes to a psychiatrist named Dr. Phil, who tries to help Jimmy with his problems. After his session, Jimmy goes and finds a tree fort with his friend, Bob. They plan to seek revenge on Ballal, but as they are about to go, Ballal comes and attacks them. Bob takes the escape zip-line, and escapes, while Jimmy is captured by Ballal. Ballal ties Jimmy up with the sleeves of his own sweatshirt and pokes him with a stick until he falls out of the tree fort. Ballal then locks Jimmy in a shed with a bike lock. After that awful incident, Jimmy goes back to Dr. Phil, and ridicules him for not helping him at all. Dr. Phil tells Jimmy that he must go and fight Ballal, and to do what he can to get rid of him.

Best. Movie. Ever.

This is possibly the greatest movie that has been created. The best cinematography I have ever seen, real acting that caught me completely off guard, and a story that I think brought tears to all that watched. I cannot believe that such a masterpiece has not become more popular and widespread in this world.

The director is, I must admit, brilliant. Jaren Garff has delivered a classic that blindsided all critics. Dallin Earl, also, acted phenomenally. Ballal is a bully that I think we all have had in our lives. I related to this story extremely well, as many of the scenes happened in my childhood. The disability acted by Mr. Earl felt real and heartfelt. I actually found myself pulled into the story like I never had with any other movie. I highly recommend this movie to anyone of any age.
