Londres, Piccadilly Circus (1896)
This here is another actuality film from the Lumiere Brothers. This one here, as the title clearly states, shows us Piccadilly Circus but I think the "circus" reference is more towards the amount of traffic. ONce again this film has the camera placed on the street and we pretty much see everything that is going by. The camera this time is really close to the street so we don't get a clear look at anything but we do get some nice shots of the various horse-drawn carriages and streetcars. These here are a lot of fun to see today and there are also some people who get pass the camera. Obviously there's nothing ground-breaking here but fans of the genre should enjoy this.
