    Storyline

    Edit
After dating now for several years, Lyndsey asks Alan for a commitment of some sort. If he can't or won't give her that commitment, she may consider exiting the relationship. Although Alan does love her, he has trouble providing that commitment. A chance meeting with Sid, an elderly man at a bar, may give Alan some perspective on the situation. Meanwhile, Walden borrows Alan's car to bring his bicycle in for repairs. When the car breaks down at the side of the highway, Walden is picked up by Shari, a beautiful and wealthy woman driving a Bentley. They immediately enter into a sexual relationship on the premise that Walden is her boy toy, since he can't convince her that he too is wealthy. Walden considers what to do about their relationship after he learns that he is not the only boy toy in her life. —Huggo

    • Quotes

Alan Harper: [Lyndsey is obviously troubled about something] Where is this coming from all of a sudden?

Lyndsey Mackelroy: Oh, something my gynecologist said.

Alan Harper: Are you all right?

Lyndsey Mackelroy: I'm fine. He said, 'Everything looks great down here. Would you like to have dinner sometime?'

Alan Harper: Wow. Wow. That is wildly inappropriate. I mean, as a Doctor myself...

      Lyndsey Mackelroy: A chiropractor.

Alan Harper: [defensive] Nonetheless, I am a healer. There's a code. I mean, you don't ask someone out when they're buck-naked with their feet in the stirrups. Unless you're drunk at a rodeo... And just for the record, he gets paid to go down there. I do it for the love of the game.
