- TriviaConrad (Henry Czerny) says "sometimes I feel like Job, from the Bible. Having only escaped by the skin of my teeth." Henry Czerny plays Kittredge in the first Mission Impossible movie where his wrongly accuses Ethan Hunt as a mole. We later find that Jon Voigt is actually the mole and his code name is Job, from the Bible.
- Quotes
Nolan Ross: I don't think my employees have any respect for me.
Emily Thorne: Why would they? You're not wearing pants.
Nolan Ross: Well, I mean, they don't know that. You know, I once did a video interview with Katie Couric butt-naked in my jacuzzi. She had no idea.

...so I take back what I said about her regarding the previous episode. She is still at peak performance, I was just a little worried there during the previous episode.
Personal favorite Christa B. Allen the absolute stand-out of this episode. Why she should be credited last, AFTER that Connor Paolo of all people, I do not know.
A special mention to Gabriel Mann's witty dry- humored Nolan Ross. I generally post quotes here on the site involving female leads, but his punchlines are great!
What's happened to Emily Alyn Lind? Her real- life little sister replaced her as the 5 year old version of Amanda (the original Amanda, hoo, confusing!) and Emily's not needed anymore...
Fortunately, the irritating Japanese martial arts experts do not appear in this episode. Irritating, to me, because they seem so contrived, as in "whimsical scriptwriter loves karate movies" and adds something that is to his, and only his, liking. It doesn't blend in, and wouldn't.
Stop-gap characters. They abound in this series. That mysterious guy, I feel it is shoddy storytelling to pull rabbits out of hats. Case in point: as interesting as it might be to have Jennifer Jason Leigh join the cast, how come there was so little referral to the absent mother last season BUT NOW of course, it's all of a sudden all about Mommy?
It's that kind of thing. Inventions along the way...
So, I am still quite critical of this show, but of course, it has its share of moments!
