A peak into Indo/Dutch history

Hans Goedkoop is narrating the viewer on a slow pace through the Dutch history with Indonesia. The storyline is supported with art, modern animation, interviews and most interesting the old footage - not to forget the well selected musical support.

There are many stories in this part of history and in this documentary was chosen for a link with Amersfoort. It shows the viewer also the lesser known side of this history. As being part for almost 20 years of a Dutch-Indo family I did recognize many parts of the documentary. Especially the part about food and family.

All with all highly recommended to watch!

Big compliment to the crew behind this documentary.
