The Last Ship

I love this series and this is my second time watching it and the same thing has bothered me this time as well as the first time around.

I hate the fact that the crew of the submarine in the second season seems to consist of a bunch of cockneys. England is full of all kinds of people , but the fact that every single one sounds like a variation of Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins really bugs me. Especially the fact that the scriptwriters have added certain phrases like " 'ere, you're doin' my nut in" and "shut it!"....which if you shut your eyes sounds like you could be watching an episode of Eastenders with the arguments going on inside the Queen Vic.

Every other episode gets a nice high score, but for me the accents alone grate on me to the point that I've had to knock a couple of stars off.
