Five friends decide to weather out a hurricane in Miami. But when drinking gets old, the party games get strange, and people begin to die. Is what is inside the house more terrifying than the storm raging outside?
Great idea and good effects, but dreadful acting. Even the established actors seem unenthusiastic and amateurish.
Its main redeeming feature is the fantastic use of a constrained and very limited space, putting me in mind of the party scenes of Cloverfield and even more claustrophobic than their sequel (10 Cloverfield Lane).
A film that any budding filmmaker should definitely see but not one I'd recommend for its entertainment value.
Not as bad regarding the amount of darkness that films of this ilk often overuse, but its the terrible acting that really ruins this movie for me.
