A teenager taking part in a quiz competition is killed. Nick and Hank go to investigate. Is a wesen behind it? By the way, Captain Renard is in love. And he doesn't like it. All the while, in Europe, Renard's brother meets an old friend of Nick.

"The Other Side" is another satisfying episode for this second season of the "Grimm". We get another mystery, the overall plot is developed too, the characters' arc is taking an interesting turn, and the humor is present too. The case of the week is a little bit weak, though. The characters that are introduced and are involved in the death of the teenager are not especially interesting, and there is little originality put into the investigation. The viewer will probably be able to see every twist coming from far away. However, Nick and Hank make the proceedings entertaining. And the package around the case (Monroe at the shop, Captain Renard in love, Wu's 'sense of humor', give the touch that keeps making "Grimm" one really entertaining show.
