Film crew climbed up to 3200 meters high in the Himalayas just to realize that camera's hard drive does not work there! Luckily they had also packed a couple of memory cards... Cant fight the obligatory diarrhea at the mountains, though. See more »
The film " Walker" by Eero Heinonen is a about a young man's journey to himself. "Tero" the main character, experiences inner changes and receives answers to questions he posed himself on his journey through the Himalaya and India. One starts to feel very close to the character, which is often produced by the actors natural facial expression and gesture. One big part of the movie is the nature around " Tero" on his walk, which is absolutely amazing. All the small scenes especially with " real life" people seem to be very natural. The spiritual message of the film is, like others wrote before, very subtle and unobtrusive. The viewer is left with some questions and maybe also answers for himself together with a warm feeling for the world around him.
