Very underrated
1 July 2016 | by LittlemickiSee all my reviews

I found this movie on Netflix, with only two stars so I didn't have high expectations. But I liked the actors so I gave it a chance.

I can see why a lot of people don't get this film. It's dark and twisted, and some parts you have to use your imagination about what happened. It doesn't spoon feed you anything. It also starts out quite funny, so audiences might be surprised when it gets serious.

Heather Graham is surprisingly good in this movie. I've really only known her for playing air headed characters, and at first that's what you get. But she has more range than I originally gave her credit for as the somewhat unbalanced Amy. Carrie-Anne Moss is brilliant as the tortured Saffron. My heart ached for her by the end. The acting really is superb, and the storyline is not your usual fare. But well worth a watch.
