Storyline

The conflict between Earth and Kilrah is drawing to a close, and in spite of new fighters, carriers, and technology joining the Fleet, the war effort is not going well. Every day, more news of fresh defeats and losses make their way around the fleet. As mighty as the Confed forces are, they face a foe which seems invincible, for every Kilrathi fighter and warship destroyed, 10 others take their place. Humanity's only hope lies in a desperate plan, the last ditch effort to bring this decades long conflict to an end. Written by Tolwyn

wing commander saga - a wonderful gift
26 October 2012 | by See all my reviews

I was 13 when I came across wing-commander, it was the the best game I had ever played. when i came across WC-saga i thought "aswome this is the next WC prophecy, cool!" when i played it i realized that this game is different, i took time to adjusts the new flight style and game engine, but it grew on me and now i cant stop playing it. it completed the Kilrathi-Terran war story for me, with so many names, ships, references and really funny jokes it is one of the best games i've ever played. even now after completing the game 100 times i still didn't get 100% from this game, every time there is something new. the music in the game is REALLY good, you can hear the basic wing commander sound track that the new tracks are based on! and the result is awesome, my wife said she liked it! and she hates everything that i even remotely like! the voice actors are really good and live like, makes you feel like you are not alone and it makes you sweat even more. the fact that this game is free is mind-blowing, its a gift to the world, to the people, to all the gamers from Anton Romanyuk and the crew, so thank you!, you took me back to my childhood and gave me a 2nd round against the cats, and i kicked their ass! so what are you waiting for crew members? get busy and make me another one!
