although I suppose not for everyone. Weird movie with cool imagery. I see people making comparisons to Lynch, Cronenberg, Refn. I'm sure Gosling was likely inspired by these 3, particularly the latter considering he's done a few of his films. I really don't get why so many people are trashing this film. It's really good. I guess people are uncomfortable when the narrative isn't abundantly clear. Although Inland Empire got great reviews and while I love that movie it is kind of a mess so IDK. Either folks are just full of it, or different strokes for different folks I guess. All in all I really enjoyed this and I think there are plenty of others that will too.
