Storyline

After losing her job at the law firm, Hannah decides to head back to Michigan for the weekend. On the surface, it's to help her parents celebrate their 30th anniversary, but it's also because she needs money from them to pay rent. Quickly upon her arrival, she has a quietly antagonistic relationship with them if only because she feels they are trying to dictate a more stable and secure life for her. However, she feels she needs some stability - or at least to know what that feels like - as she reconnects with some high school friends and acquaintances. One is coffee shop barista Heather Travis, who, like Hannah, has dreams of leaving East Lansing for bigger and better things. The other is Eric, who is now in the family business as an owner pharmacist. Her encounters with these two show Hannah if she really can ever go back home again, even if she wanted. Hannah also ditches her parents anniversary celebration, which allows them to let loose. They find that although they are still ... Written by Huggo

Girls

Girls; being critically acclaimed and buzzed at Golden Globes for its originality, is a passion project of the creator and the lead actor, Lena Dunham whose creativity and genuine soul is what keeps the series flow frictionless. The series is shot beautifully and the camera work is utterly pleasing which helps seek attention of the viewers. The writing is strong, witty and brutally honest sometimes, which can be inedible for viewers especially for it resonates eerily with reality that we all reside in. The characters or even the actors aren't given priority especially not at the compromise of the storyline which is what makes it different from one's usual sitcom. Addition to that, the series can afford and does offer a wider range where each notes connects and hits to the audience; from humor to intense drama.

Season 01

Each character has evolved in this season satisfying the viewers but has also kept a lot under their sleeve to keep them hungry for more. The season mainly focuses on the love track of protagonist and various episodes of the side characters where things are merely building up for future which seems quite exciting and believe it or not chaotic too.

The Return

It's first act is pretty mandatory and follows up the same rudimentary process that encounters the audience with a new character and somewhat of an insight of the protagonist and this is where things lift up and elevate into this beautiful dramatic sequence among the lead couple of the series.
