In his latest documentary, Sean Menard gives viewers an unprecedented look at Vince Carter: the six-foot-six, eight-time NBA All-Star from Daytona Beach who made waves in the Canadian basketball scene when he joined the Raptors in 1998.
In February 2012, an entire nation of basketball fans unexpectedly went 'Linsane.' Stuck in the mire of a disappointing season, the New York Knicks did what no other NBA team had thought about doing. They gave backup point guard Jeremy Lin an opportunity to prove himself. He took full advantage, scoring more points in his first five NBA starts than any other player in the modern era, and created a legitimate public frenzy in the process. Prior to this now-legendary run, Lin had faced adversity in his career at every turn. He wasn't offered a scholarship by any major university, nor was he drafted by any NBA team after a standout collegiate career at Harvard.Written by

I watched it on Amazon. The movie has lots of insights. It kept me absorbed from the beginning to the end, even though I have watched some of the games before, as well as the highlights in media during Linsanity. The movie is at a different level, not just a collection of highlights. The most interesting part is the history, and that Lin was interviewed at low points of his life before Linsanity, as well as during Linsanity in his private life. So we had opportunity to see what was going on in his mind at those difficult times, and to see him behind bright media lights throughout the memorable events, and little things in his real life which showed his human side, and what a lovely person he is. What impressed me is also his family. What a loving family. Everyone of them showed honesty and grace. Above all, there is no doubt that his faith has been a guiding light for him in dealing with hardship, setback, success and fame. It is awesome!
