I have not watched local productions for about 15 to 20 years now. Compared to overseas productions, local shows often had cliched scripts and stilted or affected acting.
The Third Rail is not perfect (there are still some affected deliveries) but this 12-episode gem is such a vast improvement that it is as good as perfect.
Each episode was sufficiently gripping and I really appreciated the plot twists. The characters were mostly well developed and quite believable. There were some plot loopholes but hey, what TV drama does not?
All in all, this was a fantastic show! I totally recommend it!
