low budget gangster revenge film delivers
19 August 2016 | by etlatjcjeSee all my reviews

This is a solid gangster revenge film with decent performances and pacing despite its modest budget. There's nothing original here, but its a solid treatment of a classic story, and the familiar set pieces and dialog are delivered well enough to be endearing to those who are fans of the genre.

Like many low budget films, the acting varies, but none of the performances are poor enough to be laudable. Some of the charms of this movies are the familiar characters. Attire and details greatly lend to the performances and help define characters and their role in the story. Each character and line of dialog falls into familiarity in a positive way, as homage.

If you don't mind a low budget and are looking for a solid script in the organized crime genre, give this film a chance.
