Danny Marko is worried about his father, Craig. Danny already lost his mother three years ago; now, he asks the team to save his father from himself. Craig plays wing with the Oregon Otters, but he is also an enforcer. Danny thinks his father has brain damage, but owner Pete Rising (Treat Williams) has doctors that have cleared Craig to play. For his part of the con, Eliot must climb onto the ice so he and the rest of the team can be enforcers for the Markos.

Near the end of the big game, Marko is standing within a circle of the other hockey players; in an overhead shot we see him lean down to grab his gloves and put them back on - his discarded stick is nowhere in sight. But in the next overhead shot, Eliot skates up to the stick which is right next to Marko and hands it to him. See more
I've looked online, and all the medical sites say the same thing about my dad's symptom. It's called concussion syndrome. It can lead to brain damage and even death.
What about his own doctors? He's got to be cleared to play.
That's kind of the problem. He has to get evaluated by the doctors all season. He's got stacks of these papers.
