P. K. is a comedy of ideas about a stranger in the city, who asks questions that no one has asked before. They are innocent, child-like questions, but they bring about catastrophic answers. People who are set in their ways for generations, are forced to reappraise their world when they see it from PK's innocent eyes. In the process PK makes loyal friends and powerful foes. Mends broken lives and angers the establishment. P. K.'s childlike curiosity transforms into a spiritual odyssey for him and millions of others. Finally, it is a moving saga about a friendship between strangers from worlds apart.Written by

A film like PK can never be made again in Hindi Film Industry because of it's vast variety of content and emotions which directly grips the audience along with the characters. With PK being made, the scale of good cinema has risen further. Raju Hirani has proved that a movie with a strong content can be made with fun and comedy as well. All the characters have their own importance and every incident feels real as one can easily connect with the moments happening in the film. Direction and scripting is so good that you can not point out what mistakes are there. It might not be a perfect film but it is a much better film.
