Storyline
On 'The Voice' the four superstar musician coaches begin to select teams of fourteen based solely on an artist's voice. At the end of the first season final Keith Urban announced he would be leaving 'The Voice' as coach. He soon after was confirmed as the new judge on American Idol (2002). Speculation mounted in the media on who would replace him on The Voice Australia - candidates named included Darren Hayes, Vanessa Amorosi, Natalie Imbruglia, and John Farnham. As if Australia didn't suffer enough having Gay Sebastian shoved down their throats, along comes another version of Red Faces where 4 judges turn their backs to the act and only turn around if they think they have talent.
Comprised of a panel of judges filled by a guy who hasn't had a hit single since 1994, a forgotten about 90s act, a forgotten 80s icon pretending no one remembers the sexual assault charges files against him/her/it and a woman who has the nerve and audacity to tell people they haven't done the hard yards to known what it's like to be a musician when she herself only had a hit record due to illness with her breasts that made national news and she got a pitty vote to make her next album go to #1. Now she sits their oblivious that viewers know the truth about how she got to where she is, but are too polite to just tell her to her face she shouldn't be judging anyone on talent or telling anyone about hard knocks as she didn't make it to where she is with any.
This show is a joke to see who can win the popularity vote ofva bunch of brainwashed preteens who listen to radio stations to make their musical likings for them instead if being capable of original thought.
