A unique film with some excellent performances
5 February 2018 | by justin-209-152796See all my reviews

Before the Lights Come Up is an indie film with a definite point of view. It was made by the team behind Parker's Anchor and several other movies that I have enjoyed. The look and feel of the film is something that comes across as original and has a definite sense of place and time. Jennica and Ryan Schwartzman give great performances as complicated ex-finaces and two people trapped in life confusion. I recommend the film for any person looking for a flick that transcends the confines of a typical Hollywood film.
