Storyline

Maarit has successfully managed to live a double life - a male body transformed into an attractive and intelligent woman. However, this new life has come at a considerable price, as many transgendered individuals have come to discover. Estranged from her wife and daughter, Maarit feels like a stranger in a cold but familiar world, that is, until the day she meets Sami. In the midst of a marital crisis, Sami has come to seek the help of Maarit's employer, a therapist. In the therapist's absence, Maarit feels compelled to help the man, even if it means impersonating the therapist to get through to Sami. Written by Anonymous

User Reviews

Good, heavy drama about an uncommon subject
21 July 2013 | by joshua-303-92778See all my reviews

I don't know how much I can say about this film without spoiling the plot. It's a well made drama and I thought it deserved more than just one user review.

The film is about a group of characters, who, like us, are living hectic lives, and trying to manage careers, families, etc.

Some of these characters are sexually confused and curious, and we are led into a web of betrayal and taboo liaisons.

Good performances all around, particularly the lead. Good visual direction. I recommend this.

Check out my other reviews if you liked this film. I try to cover the movies which most people don't see.
