La cripta de las condenadas: Parte II (2012)

* 1/2 (out of 4)

When it comes to Jess Franco's LA CRIPTA DE LAS CONDENADAS: PARTE II, I almost just copied and pasted my review to the first film. Basically Franco made a two and a half hour epic that was broken down into two movies. That basically means my comments on the first film could be pasted over to this one but I guess that would be lazy so I'll re-write a few things.

If you're looking for a "story" then you're not going to find that here. The majority of this film has the various women on the floor spreading their legs and messing around with other women. I'm sure someone could watch this and make up a story in their own mind or guess at what is "trying" to be said but to me nothing is being said. There's simply no plot as Franco is once again experimenting with the camera and doing nothing but capturing naked women.

I'm in agreement with a group of Franco fans who think you've never seen a Franco movie until you've seen them all. Each one is like a piece to the Franco puzzle and they all make a bit more sense with the more you watch. For me his digital age produced a great number of really lame and bad movies that did nothing but show naked bodies. Most of these contain very little plot and LA CRIPTA DE LAS CONDENADAS: PARTE II features even less plot than normal.

The problem with this film is that there's just nothing that keeps you glued to what's going on. The nudity gets boring after a while and the only decent thing is the music selection. There's certainly nothing here that rings out as being good and you can't help but think that anyone could have made this movie. The film is certainly lazy in its execution and for an erotic movie it never does that successfully either.
