Frightening & Intense Scenes

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • An extremely intense single car crash happens although NO blood or personal injuries are shown whatsoever. The car crash itself is the violence.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In the final minute of the film, we see a character approach a doorway in his own home. However, when he turns the corner he sees an abnormally gigantic spider blocking the doorway and part of the hallway. It squeals at the character in fear. This is extremely disturbing and jarring considering the films premise.
  • The film itself is generally unsettling, with both of the main characters slowly losing their grip on reality, affecting each other's lives. There are also several scenes containing large spiders which are unsettling.
  • There is a scene where a naked woman has the head of a spider. There is also a scene where a gigantic, long-legged spider is standing in the middle of a city, although it only last between 5 and 10 seconds. There are several scenes of stalking like behavior that is unsettling.
