Beautiful description of life
23 October 2013 | by TellerenSee all my reviews

Director Øyvind Sandberg has made a really beautiful documentary which follows the lives of two separate elderly farmers who run their farms in the good old fashioned way. Supplemented with astonishingly good pictures (shot by Sandberg himself), we are told their heartwarming life stories, how they ended up where they are, and why they keep on doing the hard work every day.

I have watched this film a lot of times, and get the same good, warm feeling in my stomach during every single re-watch. This is definitely one of the best Norwegian films ever produced, and I think the experienced filmmaker Sandberg should be really proud of his work on this.
