Young Elsa: Anna!

[Young Elsa accidentally hits Young Anna with a magic ice blast, and Young Anna falls to the ground, Young Elsa rushes over to her sister's side]

Young Elsa: Anna! Mama! Papa!

[Young Elsa kneels at her sister's side, crying]

Young Elsa: You're okay, Anna, I got you!

[Young Elsa cradles an unconscious Anna in her arms]

King: Elsa, what have you done? This is getting out of hand!

Young Elsa: It was an accident. I'm sorry, Anna!

Queen: Oh, she's ice cold!

King: I know where we have to go.

[the King of Arendelle looks in the library, finds an ancient book with rune writings, and rides off for Troll Valley, as Young Elsa leaves a magical trail on the ground]

Young Kristoff: Ice? Faster, Sven!

[Young Kristoff follows the magic ice trail at a safe distance on Sven's back]

Young Anna: [running down the stairs with young Elsa] Come on, come on, come on, come on!

Young Elsa: Shh, shh!

Young Anna: Come on.

[Young Anna and Elsa enter the ballroom, giggling]

Young Anna: Do the magic! Do the magic!

[Young Elsa moves her hands in a circular motion, creating magic]

Young Anna: Ohhh...

Young Elsa: Ready?

Young Anna: Uh-huh.

[Young Elsa tosses the magic up to the ballroom ceiling]

Young Anna: This is amazing!

Young Elsa: Watch this!

[Young Elsa steps on the ballroom floor, which turns to ice]

Young Elsa: [Young Anna and Elsa build a snowman; Young Elsa imitates what Olaf would sound like] Hi, I'm Olaf, and I like warm hugs!

Young Anna: I love you, Olaf!

[Young Anna hugs Olaf]

Anna: Elsa? It's me, Anna!

Elsa: Anna.

Anna: Whoa, Elsa, you look... different. It's a good different. And this place is... it's amazing.

Elsa: Thank you; I never knew what I was capable of.

Anna: [climbing the staircase] I'm so sorry about what happened. If I'd have known...

Elsa: No, no, no, it's okay. You... you don't have to apologize... but you should probably go, please.

Anna: But I just got here!

Elsa: You belong down in Arendelle.

Anna: So do you!

Elsa: No, Anna, I belong here... alone, where I can be who I am... without hurting anybody.

Anna: Actually, about that...

Olaf: [Olaf enters the Ice Palace's room] ... 59, 60!

Elsa: [startled] Wait, what was that?

Elsa: Hi, I'm Olaf, and I like warm hugs!

Elsa: [surprised] Olaf?

Olaf: Yeah, you built me! Remember that?

Elsa: And you're alive?

Olaf: Yeah, um... I think so.

Anna: He's just like the one we built as kids.

Anna: Elsa, we were so close, we can be like that again.

Young Anna: [Elsa has a flashback to her childhood and Anna's] Catch me!

Young Elsa: Slow down!

[Young Elsa accidentally hits Anna with her snow magic; Elsa rushes to an unconscious Anna's side]

Young Elsa: Anna!

Elsa: [the flashback ends] No, we can't. Goodbye, Anna.

Anna: Elsa, wait!

Elsa: No, I'm just trying to protect you!

Anna: You don't have to protect me - I'm not afraid! Please, don't shut me out again!

Anna: [the reprise of "For the First Time in Forever" starts] Please don't slam the door! / You don't have to keep your distance any more / 'Cause for the first time in forever, I finally understand, / For the first time in forever, we can fix this hand in hand,

Anna: [spoken] We can head down this mountain together!

Anna: [song resumes] You don't have to live in fear, / 'Cause for the first time in forever, I will be right here.

Elsa: Anna... Please go back home, your life awaits, / Go enjoy the sun and open up the gates,

Anna: [song pauses] Yeah, but...

Elsa: I know.

Elsa: [duet resumes] You mean well, but leave me be, / Yes, I'm alone, but I'm alone and free, / Just stay away, and you'll be safe from me,

Anna: Actually, we're not...

Elsa: What do you mean, "you're not"?

Anna: I get the feeling you don't know...

Elsa: What do I not know?

Anna: [Anna's song slows down] Arendelle's in deep, deep, deep, deep... snow.

Elsa: [song pauses] What?

Anna: You kind of set off an eternal winter... everywhere.

Elsa: Everywhere?

Anna: Well, it's okay, you can just unfreeze it.

Elsa: [nervously] No I can't, I... I don't know how!

Anna: Sure, you can! I know you can!

Anna: ["For the First Time in Forever" reprisal resumes] 'Cause for the first time in forever,

Elsa: Oh, I'm such a fool, I can't be free...

Anna: You don't have to be afraid...

Elsa: No escape from the storm inside of me...

Anna: We can work this out together...

Elsa: I can't control the curse!

Anna: We'll reverse the storm you've made,

Elsa: Anna, please, you'll only make it worse!

Anna: Don't panic...

Elsa: There's so much fear!

Anna: We'll make the sun shine bright...

Elsa: You're not safe here!

Anna: We can face this thing together...

Elsa: No...

Anna: We can change this winter weather, and everything will be all right!

Elsa: I can't!

[a beam of ice magic strikes Anna in her chest; the duet ends]

Bulda: Let me see: bright eyes, working nose, strong teeth! Yes, yes! She'll do nicely for our Kristoff!

Anna: Wait, um... no.

Kristoff: You've got the wrong idea; no, that's not why I brought her here.

Anna: Right, we're not - I mean, I'm not...

Bulda: What's the issue, dear? Why are you holding back from such a man?

Bulda: ["Fixer Upper" begins] Is it the clumpy way he walks?

Kristoff: What?

Cliff: Or the grumpy way he talks?

Girl Troll: Or the pear-shaped, square shaped weirdness of his feet?

Kristoff: Hey!

Troll: And though we know he washes well, he always ends up sort of smelly,

Bulda: But you'll never meet a fella, who's as...

BuldaCliff: [sung together] Sensitive and sweet...

Anna: [interrupting] That's nice, but...

BuldaCliff: So he's a bit of a fixer upper, so he's got a few flaws,

Kristoff: [rolling on a rock troll] Whoa, whoa, whoa!

Troll: Like his peculiar brain, deer

Singing Troll: His thing with the reindeer,

Singing TrollTroll: That's a little outside of nature's laws...

Kristoff: This is not about me!

BuldaSinging TrollTroll: So he's a bit of a fixer upper, but this we're certain of: / You can fix this fixer upper up, with a little bit of love!

Kristoff: Can we please stop talking about this? We've got a real, actual problem here!

Bulda: I'll say! So tell me, dear:

Bulda: [song resumes] Is it the way that he runs scared,

Troll: Or that he's socially impaired,

Girl Troll: Or that he only likes to tinkle in the woods?

Anna: [interrupting] I did not need to know that.
