characters used

King Kong (1933)
Cliff scene where the hero and heroine are climbing down on a rope to get away from the snow monster, while the beast proceeds to pull them back up. Eventually both fall. It is similar to the scene in King Kong (1933), with Ann Darrow and Jack Driscoll.
Mary Poppins (1964)
In Olaf's sequence of "In Summer," he does a dance sequence with some seagulls in yellow and red hats, also holding a cane. This is a reference to the dance sequence in Disney's Mary Poppins when Bert dances with the penguins when he and Mary Poppins are in the painting.
Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
The line when Anna is expressing her annoyance for the snow 'Snow, it had to be snow' is a reference to 'Raiders of the lost Ark'(1981) which Indiana famously sneers 'snakes, it had to be snakes'.
Ghostbusters (1984)
The large Snow Monster is referred to as Marshmallow Man, a reference to Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from the Ghostbusters movie.
Pride and Prejudice (1995) (TV Mini-Series)
A painting featuring Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy as seen in the 1995 BBC miniseries is shown when Anna is singing "For the First Time in Forever".
Titanic (1997)
The names 'Sven' and 'Olaf' from Frozen are the same names as the characters from whom Jack wins his Titanic Tickets in a poker game.
Arrested Development (2003) (TV Series)
There are multiple references to Arrested Development. First, the Duke of Weselton dances with Princess Anna, at one point saying he is a graceful chicken, and then does Lindsay Funke's chicken-dance. Not long after, she sings a song with Prince Hans of the Southern Isles which features a line about finishing each other's sandwiches, which is a running gag on Arrested Development. Finally, as Queen Elsa's powers are finally being discovered, the Duke yells out "She's a MONSTER!" in the same manner that Buster Bluth cries out about his own monstrosity in Arrested Development.
Over the Hedge (2006)
In one scene the Duke of Weselton says his evil plan out loud and then asks was that out loud? The same line was said by Hammy in Over the Hedge
Enchanted (2007)
Both feature Idina Menzel's voice and characters discussing marrying a prince that the lead female has only known for a day.
Tangled (2010)
Rapunzel (with her short brunette hair) and Flynn make a brief cameo during "The First Time in Forever". They walk into the castle as Anna leaves it.
Brave (2012)
A Merida doll can be seen in Anna's bedroom
Wreck-It Ralph (2012)
Truffles that look like the Sugar Rush racers are on the table in during Anna's rendition of 'For the first time in forever'.
