Two best friends see their trip of a lifetime take a dark turn when one of them is struck by a mysterious affliction. Now, in a foreign land, they race to uncover the source before it consumes him completely.
During a rough period in her life, beautiful Samantha reluctantly decides to attend her best friend's party, and even though she still struggles with a previous addiction, she unwisely accepts a drink from a complete stranger. As a result, shortly after, hapless Samantha considerably inebriated, she will end up raped in the backseat of the malicious predator's car, however, from that point on, the terrible incident will be the least of her problems. Straight away and rather inexplicably, poor Samantha will begin noticing rapid and drastic organic changes in her body, and being unable to pinpoint the origin of the dramatic transformation, within the next 72 hours, she will embrace her gruesome and pitiless fate as well as the certainty that she is falling apart. Based upon a positive review by Howard Stern sidekick, Robin Quivers, I watched Contracted. Robin is no Roger Ebert, that's for sure. Allison is a young lesbian woman, who, while drunk, makes the mistake of having sex with a guy in a car who gives her some kind of strange virus which causes our young heroine to bleed from various places. Her eyes turn red, her hair and fingernails fall out and life becomes more and more difficult for Allison. Mom tries to help in vain, and the doctor who examines her cannot explain the disease. The movie goes nowhere and the acting is barely competent with a script with no sense of humor to help the mediocre story along. The music is blaring and distracting, and there is no reason to watch Contracted.
