A quality mini-Taiga drama
9 December 2018 | by petersmovieposters-36377See all my reviews

This will take some getting used to if you've got any knowledge of Japanese history but if Inglourious Basterds didn't make you want to gouge your eyes out I think you'll enjoy this. Essentially an upscale Taiga Drama, sometimes the condensed story moves a little briskly but if you just go with the flow it's very entertaining and having Nobunaga be a woman offers some novel opportunities at tweaking the historical record.
