Trivia

Riley Andersen, the protagonist from Pixar's previous film Inside Out (2015) has a very brief cameo in the film. Right after Dory is thrown into Destiny's tank, she bumps into the glass viewing window. Riley can be seen in the crowd of children in the back row. See more »

Goofs

When we first meet hank, he goes into a sink and he reaches up to flip a light switch to the down position, which turns on the garbage disposal. He then quickly moves the switch back up, turning it off. Moving a switch up would turn the disposal on and down would turn it off, not the other way around as depicted. See more »

Crazy Credits

In a post-end credits scene, Fluke and Rudder repel another attempt by Gerald to join them on the rock, while the Tank Gang from Finding Nemo (2003) floats by, still in their bags, which are filthy after crossing the ocean -- except for Jacques' bag of course. They begin to celebrate their arrival before being promptly scooped up by researchers from the Marine Life Institute and thrown into a cooler where they will be presumably rescued, rehabilitated and released. The ordeal distracts Fluke and Rudder long enough for Gerald to sneak onto the rock behind them. See more »

Simply a delightful movie
28 May 2017 | by Sweetigal85See all my reviews

I have to admit that I was among many who rolled their eyes when a sequel to Finding Nemo was announced. I really didn't think there was anything else that could be done with that story. WRONG! It was honestly a million times better than I ever could have expected. I definitely loved it more than the original Finding Nemo. Dory was a fan favorite in the original film and the sequel delivers more of Ellen's whimsical portrayal of the forgetful little fish.

I am a sucker for backstory (main reason I love the Star Wars prequels) and I absolutely loved the direction they took this film in. Fun for the whole family. Laughs, lessons, tons of heart. Who could ask for more? The voice acting cast was tremendous, particularly Ellen, of course. They really know how to pull you into this undersea world. I really wouldn't have changed anything about it. A truly delightful movie.
