A teenage dreamer from a small Italian village faces opposition from his uncles but finds support from his mother before embarking on a journey to New York, where he confronts the harsh realities of life as an immigrant.

Once upon a time in a small Italian village a rambunctious teenager dreamed of making something of himself, despite his bullying uncles who are pressuring Mama to send the boy away. However, a mother's heart never surrenders.
