Samuel And The Three Kings
26 August 2019 | by RealChristian14See all my reviews

"Kingdom" tells the story of the Prophet Samuel and the first three Kings of Israel in Saul,David, and Solomon. It tells important events such as the selection of Saul as the first King; the story of David's journey from being a shepherd into becoming the next King of Israel; and the reign of King Solomon.

Too bad that the episode was short considering that there are a lot of important stories that were missed in it.Added to that, it also provided equal importance of each of the kings despite the fact that King David happens to be the most important one when Israel had a monarch.Added to that,King Solomon's wisdom was placed nowhere considering that his story only involves the building of a new temple. Finally,I felt that there is too much time focused of King Saul particularly on his war victories rather than putting an emphasis on why he became the first King of Israel and what attributes did he have that made him that.
