Here's a movie you could call an ethnographic survey of London if you wished. The camera travels around the City, showing the audience bits and bobs of foreign neighborhoods: a new stand with all the Parisian papers, an Italian butcher shop, a Swedish reading room, and several other types. London attracts them all, and they put down roots.... but still like a lot of the things they left behind. Even the Australians and New Zealanders.
Even by today's intolerant standards of universal toleration, this one is pretty offensive, unless you are Chinese or feel they need protecting from a 9-minute, 95-year-old movie that mentions "betel nut, bhang and opium."
