This series has been up and down, with some interesting episodes alternating with very pedestrian plots which bored me.
I found this episode interesting ... up to a point. That point is when Ian realizes he has to cooperate with himself in three different times because ... I won't quote the reason the writers came up with but it's stupid. I rolled my eyes, looked over at my wife, and she was rolling hers, too.
No one is an expert on "time travel" ... who would be? But we're both ardent sci-fi readers and there isn't a lot of speculation of time travel we haven't encountered. The QL writers are babes in the woods on the subject, and that's obvious.
However, we were glad they wrapped up the arc of Ben's reason to leap, and wrapped up Martinez, despite how flakey even that resolution was.
Overall, we enjoyed the episode. NOW, we hope they devote the next season ... if there is one ... to bringing Sam back home. ;-)
