When Daniel finds the book in which Emily/Amanda had a camera hidden, you can clearly see the name Orwell on the cover of the book. Orwell wrote the story 1984, in which Big Brother watches everybody. Her hidden camera reflects this idea.

A fitting end to a fabulous first season!

I can't think of many TV shows that had quite as perfect a season 1 as 'Revenge' did. It was faultless at times.

Sadly though it never quite lived up to season 1 in terms of quality, and this episode, or to be frank, its final cliff-hanger unfortunately sets the tone for things to come.

There are some great moments to enjoy here though, not least the brilliant chemistry between Emily and Nolan, which carried this first year.

There's some sadness too as well, and 'Revenge' at this stage was a show that could really find a balance of the two well.

Don't get me wrong, there are plus points for season 2-4, but this was 'Revenge' at its best.
