Altered Carbon

So I just Coronabinged both seasons start to finish.

🎬 Season 1: had convoluted screenwriting with plot and technical issues and episodes that seemed out of order, but the story concept was amazing. However, I was very impressed with the outstanding cinematography, spectacular v/sfx visuals, great directing, and outstanding performances. 9/10

🎬 Season 2: was way toned down in the cinematic experience with cheaper/less stunning s/vfx visuals, sets, and cinematography. Mackie just wasn't right for this role. He was too monotonic and I kept expecting wings to pop out from his back. There were many better casting choices. Although the writing got a little lazy with long dragged out scenes, at least the story in every episode was orderly and perfectly contextual with only minor plot and technical issues. However, some of the content was a little ridiculous. Certainly not as entertaining as the 1st season, but the closure on many questions from S1 was refreshing. 7/10
