    Katie Walder
In this episode, Katie Walder appears as Beth, an ex- girlfriend of Ben's. She is a posh English girl, a coolly efficient go-getter, sic 'em type lawyer, Now, the average viewer here is gonna say that Beth is a nasty little b word, but even if that is the case, my focus falls on the actresses themselves, and I thought she was fantastic. Difficult part to play, this eyes-on-the-prize ice princess with the broken heart. In here, she looks like a "mean girls" cheerleader from some recent teem movie now embarked on a legal career. The cool veneer and the snide comments were played to perfection.

I've noticed (of course) that Kate always, always (well, very often) wears that red coat, the black trousers and the black leather gloves. By now it is just getting to be too much, what is that, her super-heroine outfit? I do doubt very much that a girl like Sarah Shahi's Kate Reed would wear the same outfit so regularly. Oh, did her wardrobe blow up in the boat?
