A movie about the vital power of music and a unique insight into Chinese history.
We were looking forward to watch this documentary film because we expected a interesting and funny movie, as usually produced by the company Flying Moon (for instance Full Metall Village). However, the 2 hours in the cinema were just boring due to the lack of dramaturgie or any highlights. What is the task of a director that we like to follow him into the cine? It implements the confidence in a life-enriching time. Of course one can't expect dramaturgy in a documentary film, at least the director should guide the viewer in an irrelevant story, or he should provide any kind of tension and sensation. But here they lure us in a unresponsible way into the cine for really NOTHING. It created a very disappointing feeling regarding the hundreds of other interesting topics in the world.
