Can we please stop this genre of run through the woods movies?
I guess someone has been watching The Blair Witch Project before making this movie. I was already not a fan of that one, and I'm for sure not a fan of this one. First of all the way of shooting this movie is just annoying to watch. I don't think there are much fans of this way of shooting movies so I don't get why you would continue making such movies. And a good horror movie needs at least a bit of gory details or some scary characters but in Nightlight it's mostly about suggestion. There's nothing wrong with that if the movie would be good but that's the problem, it isn't good. The power of suggestion only works when you have a good story and a good soundtrack. Here the acting is below average, sometimes even annoying. But if you like people running through the woods at night chased by something then you might like it. I didn't and that will never change.
