Spy/Master

I'm impressed by how accurately this film portrays historical events, while also balancing suspense and character development. The non-linear storytelling effectively immerses the viewer in the era's analog atmosphere and the increasing paranoia of the Ceausescu regime. The intricate interplay between the Securitate's internal power struggles and the espionage tactics of Eastern Bloc agencies is captivating, leaving me craving more. Also worth mentioning are the counter intel guy's obsession with catching our hero and the spy chicks and their intricacies.

While I won't spoil any surprises, I can say that the film stays true to the essence of Pacepa's story. I thoroughly enjoyed this film!
