Ben, Alex, and Walter's dog survive the crash with various injuries..
After playing so many Americans in her career, Kate Winslet didn't have any trouble performing in that accent at sub-zero temperatures. She possessed such a grasp of the dialect that as soon as the scene was over, she would revert back to her authentic English accent, leaving Idris Elba astonished: "When I'm acting as an American, I have to talk the American [accent] all the time. I can't do what she does, when she just switch back and forth. I was like 'Wow, your amazing! How'd you do that?'" See more »
Take a look at the dog. It has to be very slim and not so active after 3 weeks starving.
You are freezing- warm animal near you. See more »
Okay. We're down to the rule of three. We can go three weeks without food, three days without water, and three minutes without air.

This was an entertaining film although a little on the slow side. Overall enjoyable ride which plateaued a little in the middle. The one massive issue I had was that when our two protagonists looked tired, cold and hungry, the dog seemed to be full of energy for the entire film.constantly bounding about like he was on a morning walk in the snow.....the little guys feet would have been so frost bitten and they should have at least made comments towards his condition as every time I saw him leaping through the snow it just ruined the tension. Ok for a Sunday night view.
