A Corner of Barnet Fair

Birt Acres shot this movie. It shows a merry-go-round and some people sitting in a doorway while street traffic goes by. It's in poor shape.

Acres was living in Barnet at the time, so it's not as if he had to travel to take this movies. He had already given his first exhibition of moving pictures in January of the year, and would not fall out with his partner Robert Paul until 1897, when Paul took umbrage at Acres' patenting several of his many inventions in his own name.,

Acres would die in 1918 at the age of 64.
