Quotes

[first lines]
Jack: You want to tell me what this is all about? I mean, if you want me to protect this, don't you want me to know what it is?
Dragna: No, I don't.
Jack: Okay. Can I ask you a question?
Dragna: Go ahead.
Jack: In all due respect, why don't you just hire FedEx?
Dragna: Because I'm hiring you, Jack.
Jack: So, you want me to pick up this bag and bring it to you, and that's it?
Dragna: I want to pay you an exorbitant amount of money to get the bag and bring it to me.

Dark and Gritty
13 March 2014 | by lisbeth-ashbySee all my reviews

If you like films like Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs than you'll love the Bag Man. Really good neo noir film with dark humor and a gritty, hip, edgy factor. John Cusack is great as "Jack" the hit-man assigned by Robert De Niro to look after a mysterious bag with unknown contents. Most of the film takes place at a seedy motel that's the perfect setting for an offbeat crime thriller like this. Very cool, and a lot of fun. Also, look for Rebecca Da Costa the film's mysterious heroine to become a big star. She's not only stunning, but also a very good actress. As a big fan of the mysterious Tarantino-esque films, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun flick.
