Adventuring into the heart of Africa, a paraglider instigates a young man's potentially deadly quest to release the weight of poverty, social taboos and self doubt, and take to the skies. In doing so, the traveler is confronted with unsettling truths about his own racial and cultural identity. In a country where no one flies, two friends can inspire a nation by putting everything on the line. Written by Benjamin Jordan
This film is the real deal. It's the story of one man following his dreams and helping a boy follow his, and in the process becoming a man. If you're looking for something down to earth and authentic, this is it. The scene at the end when you finally see Godfrey take flight is downright euphoric. I've watched it many times in a row and had a grin plastered to my face the whole time. Highly recommended.
