Vatertage - Opa über Nacht

The premise is simple and has been done in similar fashion before. Be it with Adam Sandler (though he only had to deal with one "kid") or others. So there is not much that will surprise you here - it is predictable. It still is entertaining though, which comes down mostly to the actors involved.

The guy who is a great detective (well not in the traditional sense of the word) in a movie series based on very funny books, plays the lead role. His charisma cannot be denied - which does not mean that maybe you feel he is annoying - it is always a matter of perspective.

So if you like light family comedy, you could do worse ...
