"Watching this film was like opening a time capsule from the 90s, filled with all the emotions, memories, and friendships of that era. The movie beautifully captures the essence of genuine relationships, with a story that explores friendship, nostalgia, and the impact people have on our lives, even after they're gone.
From the very first scene, the film pulls you in with a sense of familiarity. The cinematography and setting make you feel like you're right back in the 90s, with subtle references that bring back memories of a simpler, more connected time. There's something magical about how it recreates that decade-not just through visuals, but in the emotions, attitudes, and bonds that define the characters.
The characters are incredibly well-developed and feel authentic, as if they're people you've known your whole life. Their stories are not exaggerated or over-the-top; they're simply relatable. The friendships in the film feel raw and genuine, portraying the ups and downs that come with relationships over the years. Each character has their own journey, and the way they support each other through hardships, joys, misunderstandings, and reconciliations reflects what true friendship is all about. The beauty of the story lies in its simplicity and honesty, something many modern films often overlook in favor of drama or spectacle.
The film explores the bittersweet realities of life, and it's a refreshing change to see a movie that doesn't shy away from showing vulnerability. It brings up memories of friendships we've all had and perhaps lost, the kind of relationships that shaped us and left a mark on who we are. Through the characters' lives, it reminds us how friendships evolve, how they sometimes end, and how we continue to carry pieces of each other. As the story unfolds, it's easy to feel a mix of joy, laughter, and eventually, a wave of sadness that hits just as the film reaches its conclusion.
One of the film's strongest aspects is its ability to evoke raw emotions. There are scenes that are beautifully crafted to bring out memories of our own friendships and shared moments. The laughter feels real, the conflicts hit home, and the reunions are incredibly touching. As the movie reaches its final moments, you realize how attached you've become to these characters, and saying goodbye feels almost as hard as parting with real friends.
The music also deserves a mention. The soundtrack is perfectly aligned with the theme, combining 90s classics with a few soulful instrumental pieces that enhance the emotional depth of the film. The music doesn't just serve as background noise; it complements the scenes and adds a layer of nostalgia that feels genuine rather than forced. It's a soundtrack you'll want to keep revisiting even after the film ends.
Ultimately, this movie is not just about friendship, but also about growth, memories, and how we carry pieces of our past into our future. It serves as a reminder of the friends who were once so important, the laughter we shared, and the tears we shed. It's a testament to how friendships, even if they fade with time, still hold a special place in our hearts.
The final moments of the film were especially moving, and I couldn't hold back the tears as the credits rolled. There's something incredibly powerful about a movie that can bring you to tears simply by telling an honest, heartfelt story. This film does that with grace and subtlety. It doesn't need grand gestures or dramatic plot twists to make an impact; its power lies in its sincerity.
In an era where so many movies rely on big budgets and special effects, it's refreshing to see a film that puts its focus on storytelling and character. This is a must-watch, especially for anyone who values meaningful relationships and appreciates the beauty of the past. If you want a film that will make you laugh, cry, and reminisce about the friendships that shaped you, this is it. Highly recommended!"

Pallotty 90's Kids
A small beautiful movie that takes you to your childhood days and memories.
The story is about a young man returning to his hometown cherishing the memorable moments with his closest pal that happened in their childhood days.
Sensational screenplay writing by Deepak Vasan and Jithin Raj's brilliant executional capability has taken the audience to their childhood memories and relive those moments. I could easily relate to the movie being a 90's kid especially the collection of cricketer & wrestler cards, going to neighborhood for watching TV,fear about kidnap in Omni van, imitating wrestling moves with friends & siblings. The movie gives us a chance to reflect on our lives and to forgive and forget the childhood traumas and the importance of nurturing and maintaining good relationships. The mischievousness & innocence of childhood days is portrayed effortlessly by all the kids in the movie and credit goes to Abu Valayamkulam for the brilliant casting in the movie.
Sensational performances by Davinchi Santhosh,Neeraj Krishna & Adish Praveen. Intense performances by Saiju Kurup,Balu Varghese,Arjun Ashokan & Sudhy Kopa.
Melodious tracks & BGM's by Manikandan Ayyappa gave more satisfaction in cherishing the good old days. Incredible set work by Benglann and Sharon's visuals of the village gave more colour and life to the movie.
Hats off to the director for bringing such a beautiful story to the big screen s.
A must watch movie in theatres with family if you want a sense of enlightenment and delightful experience while cherishing your good old memories.

Pallotty 90's Kids is truly a gem of a movie, capturing the raw emotions and struggles of childhood in a way that hits you right in the heart. Kannettan's journey, filled with sacrifices and hardships, was both nostalgic and heartbreaking. I was moved to tears seeing his innocence and resilience despite the challenges of poverty. Davinchi Santhosh, the young actor who played Kannettan, delivered such a natural and impactful performance-it's heartbreaking to see his name is not highlighted in the cast list on Google! His performance was so moving and natural and he carried the film making it an unforgettable experience. This movie is a must-watch and a reminder of the silent struggles many kids endure. Thank you for such a powerful story!
