What Are You Doing Back There?

Four sisters are in the back seat of a big sedan car, while their parents in the front seat take them on a long drive across the Canadian roads.

It's a nicely animated cartoon from the National Film Board of Canada and it examines the issues of boredom and it's linkage to creativity. It does so in the most obvious and open modern manner. All too often we complain that young people are overstimulated, their senses constantly under assault by the world, but the media, but what happens when that is gone? Boredom, sulking, and eventually you find a way to entertain yourself.
