Storyline

Oliver Queen and his father are lost at sea when their luxury yacht sinks, apparently in a storm. His father dies, but Oliver survives for five years on an uncharted island and eventually returns home. But he wasn't alone on the island where he learned not only how to fight and survive but also of his father's corruption and unscrupulous business dealings. He returns to civilization a changed man, determined to put things right. He disguises himself with the hood of one of his mysterious island mentors, arms himself with a bow and sets about hunting down the men and women who have corrupted his city. Written by Anonymous

Trivia

In Arrow: Taken (2016), Oliver said that he and Mari had an "animated adventure last year". It is the literal truth because most of the Arrow cast provided the voices for their characters in the animated Vixen (2015). Also Grant Gustin and Carlos Valdes from The Flash (2014) stood for their animated characters' voices in Vixen. See more »

Goofs

In the promotional picture for the series it shows a shirtless Oliver. The scars from his time on the island are visible, but there is no tattoo. During the series Oliver has a tattoo on his chest, a tattoo that plays an important role in at least one episode (1x03 "Lone Gunmen") and has been visible in every other episode. See more »

Damien Darhk: Cities are like puppies. You see them writhing in agony on the street, you put them down. You don't let them suffer.

Team arrow is pretty lame. It's like they went from a show for adolescents and adult to a show for kids
