Trivia

The arrowhead design of the title logo has changed every season. Season 1 had a flat arrowhead shape. Season 2 retained the same shape of the arrowhead as season 1, only dimensions were added to it. Season 3 is a completely different arrowhead shape design complete with engraved symbols. A few instances in Season 3 the logo changed to reflect the storyline. In Arrow: Draw Back Your Bow (2014), the title arrowhead logo was that of Cupid's heart shape arrow. In Arrow: The Brave and the Bold (2014), lightning was added to the logo as The Flash guest starred. In Arrow: The Return (2015), the arrowhead logo reverted to the season 2 arrowhead when Slade Wilson returned. In season 4, the arrowhead has a bright green color. In season 5, it has a bright green color similar to season 4's, but bevelled with an inverted Y-shape at the bottom. See more »

Goofs

In two second-season episodes, chest compressions to restart Oliver's and Roy's hearts were done incorrectly. They are pushing down on the person's actual chest, rather than two finger widths above the sternum. That would damage the ribs, lungs and other vitals. See more »

Quotes

Oliver Queen: My name is Oliver Queen, after five years in hell, I have come home with only one goal: to save my city. Now others have joined my crusade. To them, I'm Oliver Queen. To the rest of Starling City, I'm someone else. I am something else.

Surprising and entertaining
11 October 2012 | by aljaz_kercSee all my reviews

OK, just seen the first episode and I think it was amazing. I am not the biggest fan of comics or very knowledgeable about Green Arrow in general, so I feel I can be very objective in reviewing this show like I would any regular one, without fan-love ideas or huge expectations. The characters seem very believable so far, few minor doubts here and there but nothing crucial; acting also up to part. Story is realistic, without that fantastical loop holes that comic adaptations usually have (was told Green Arrow was like that in comics too, so I respect the decision to stay with that). CGI was decent, compliments to stunt collection and fighting choreography (well done, sir, well done), and quite good screenplay for this episode. The makers opened quite a few questions, made room for many ways show can stream to; I can say without a doubt, that this show is one of the surprises of this fall and I can only hope that the whole season lives up to this great pilot.
