MPAA Rated R for bloody horror violence, language and some sexual references

Sex & Nudity

  • A woman is seen in white lace underwear at the beginning of the film.
  • One scene features implied nudity, as a young man asks a teenage girl to have sex with him for a role in a play. She strips down to her bra and is seen topless from behind (No actual nudity) but she decides not to go through with it. The same man is also seen hinting at sex in other scenes.
  • A teenage boy kisses another for about three seconds.
  • A teenage girl (indirectly) calls another a slut.
  • It is largely implied that a man is sexually interested in a teenage girl.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is stabbed in the chest, but it is quickly revealed to be a scene from a play.
  • A man is tied to a chair, choked, and beaten with a frying pan but he breaks free before he can be killed.
  • During a flashback, a man is seen slapping a young child multiple times.
  • A young woman is accidentally hit in the head with a frying pan.
  • A woman is stabbed in the neck and mouth. Her death is seen twice.
  • A teenage boy has his foot impaled with a stage light then has his foot cut in half by being kicked backwards. He is then forced to put his mouth over a light bulb, simultaneously burning, electrocuting, and choking him. His decapitated head is later found in a garbage can.
  • A teenage girl is found dead with multiple nails pushed into her face. This is seen twice.
  • A teenage boy is stabbed in the stomach with scissors.
  • A teenage girl has her face scalded by a hot shower and is slashed by a saw blade. Her corpse is briefly seen.
  • A teenage boy is stabbed repeatedly in the chest with a knife.
  • A man is sawed in the stomach and is cut open; his intestines are briefly seen.


  • The camp owner is heard using the F word a few times, once in the presence of a child
  • The killer sings a song called "Shut Your Fucking Face".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A young man offers a woman what appears to be an alcoholic drink.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The majority of the deaths might be frightening to some audience members, but they are lightened by the comedic tone of the rest of the film.
  • The reveal of the killer is actually rather surprising, considering the other characters heavily implied to be so.
